Falling In Love Again: A Homage To The 70's by hopelaw featuring african paintings Hey...
Close your eyes. Think back to one of your happiest moments. Is the memory still vivid? Are there things that bring you back to that time like a smell, a sound or touch?
One of my happiest moments has nothing to do with an event but rather a realization. No not realizing that I need to start realizing like the Kylie Jenner, haha. Just in case you have no clue what I'm talking about here's Kylie Realizing Things.
I'm talking about the memory of when I realized I loved the 70's. The clothes, the colors, the Afros, and most importantly the music.
The one thing that always takes me back to when I fell in love with the 70's is the song by ABBA called Dancing Queen. I don't know why but whenever that song plays randomly my spirit immediately lightens, joy and peace just seem to fall upon me. It's a slightly indescribable feeling. And if you don't keep up with classics just press play and have a listen.
WARNING: THIS SONG WILL GET STUCK IN YOUR HEAD
So I suddenly heard Dancing Queen the other day and it was like falling in love all over again. I thought "why not pay homage to the 70's?", an era that has brought great joy, fashion, and music into my life. What better way to do this then to create a modernized look inspired by true love. And of course, I had to throw in my new favorite trend which is the neck scarf. This can be a tricky trend for some so below I have a few examples of how to successfully wear a silk neck scarf.
